Canatec Pte Ltd is known for distributing CRAH and Canatal Precision Air Conditioning in Singapore. Being in the business for many years and with all the experiences we have gained from installing and maintaining precision cooling systems in various companies, we understand how important it is to make sure that the environment is safe and secure even before the installation. In this article, we will be going to detail the things you need to know before installing a Canatal air conditioning system in your workplace.

Maximize Efficiency

One of the things we often advised our clients before installing a CRAH or Canatal Precision Air Conditioning System is to make sure that the facility where the precision cooler will be placed shall be designed or in some cases, altered, to maximize the performance of the system. A Vapour seal must be installed first around the room to reduce moisture. Moisture and humidity are the main enemies not only of the precision equipment but of the facility as well. Polyethylene film can also be placed on the ceiling for better moisture control. Likewise, plastic paint and vinyl adhesive wallpapers can also help for walls as they do not absorb moisture in the air.

Maintain Balance of Usage

Because of the limited number of occupants, a normal space must be maintained to just around 5% of the circulated air. Which allows for enough ventilation for staff while still pressurising the space to deter dust from entering by leaks. The recirculated fresh air should be properly screened and, ideally, pre-treated. Alternatively, the fresh air's warming, cooling, humidity control, and dehumidification should be included when calculating overall loading requirements.

Route Cables Carefully

Both piping and sensing cable must be strategically routed to reduce friction to conditioned air delivery and to prevent blocking air-paths to any part of the room. Both cables and piping flowing under the elevated floor should be placed horizontally and routed in line with the air-path wherever possible.

Keep the Units Closed Together

If you wish to really maximize the performance of your Canatal precision air conditioning systems is to put the units as close together as possible. If this setup isn’t feasible consult an expert precision cooling system technician.
